The Women's College Volleyball Prospect ID Showcase events will feature two sessions, Morning and Afternoon. This gives female players the opportunity to pick the session that best fits their schedule. All college coaches will attend each session. It is a very active day for both coaches and players. Players should be prepared for a lot of college volleyball and to have conversations with the coaches.Players can register for the Morning Session, the Afternoon Session or both the Morning and Afternoon sessions. This is designed for players wanting to maximize their time in front of the college coaches and showcase their versatility on the court.

The Morning Session will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The Afternoon Session will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The event is for those prospective student-athletes who are focused on pursuing volleyball at the collegiate level or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature a quality lineup of college volleyball coaches who are there to instruct and evaluate players in an individual and team setting. The Women's College Volleyball Prospect ID Showcase is open to all girls high school volleyball players and has limited enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are compliant with all NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rules.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Opportunities to ask questions and get to know the college coaches.
  • Position specific training and small group instruction.
  • An open discussion about the NCAA rules, and regulations. If spectators are limited at the facility, this discussion may be presented virtually.
  • All campers will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

EVALUATION

All players will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college volleyball coaches represented at the camp. Each Women's College Volleyball Prospect ID Showcase can differ slightly when it comes to feedback given. We encourage full interactions between coaches and players, therefore we do not provide written evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching and evaluating process and offer feedback when appropriate based on their experiences at their level of college volleyball. This will allow each participating volleyball player the opportunity to get a clear idea of where their skills may fit at the college level.

SHOWCASE DETAILS

Each segment of camp will consist of skill evaluation, training, and instruction. Players will have the opportunity to receive advanced instruction from the college coaches in their primary position. Each player will be taken through a series of drills in their specific position, including passing & defense, setting, and hitting & blocking. All players will be divided into small groups by their position. Players will receive continued instruction on their position, as well as offensive and defensive team concepts, during the competition segment. The college coaches in attendance will run drills that they use with their own teams during practices. All players will be split into teams by skill level. Our goal is to have a player to coach ratio that will not exceed 8:1. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large camp numbers. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in a small group setting.

THE COLLEGE COACHES ARE ON THE COURT ALL DAY JUST LIKE THEY ARE FOR THEIR OWN PRACTICES & GAMES

DISCUSSION ON COLLEGE ATHLETICS

This is an open discussion between the college coaches, the players, and the family of the players. There are many myths and misunderstandings about participating in college athletics. This discussion is a chance to ask questions and get informed about some of the rules and regulations of college athletics. Topics like, NCAA rules, the NCAA Eligibility Center, What Coaches Look For, What to Expect Playing College Athletics, and How to Promote Yourself will be covered.
